Ms. Morgen joins FSB Legal Counsel from the Real Estate Investment and Finance group of Alston & Bird LLP, where she concentrated her practice on the representation of real estate clients engaged in acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of commercial real estate, with experience in large multi-state transactions, hospitality properties and office and industrial leasing. Ms. Morgen also represents institutional real estate lenders, borrowers and investors, including financial institutions, REITs and pension fund advisors. She specializes in a wide variety of financing transactions including permanent and construction financing, multi-state collateral pools for revolving credit facilities and mortgage loan servicing. Her representations extend beyond loan origination and servicing to workouts, loan restructuring and foreclosures as well as sale of foreclosed assets.
Ms.Morgen is an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She is also a member of the Real Property Section of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. Ms. Morgen has written or spoken on a variety of real estate matters including easements, development and leasing.
