Dr. Baker's practice focuses on the protection and commercialization of intellectual property.  With degrees in chemical engineering and multi-species medicine, Stan is uniquely qualified to address a broad range of intellectual property issues.  His practice includes patent prosecution in the mechanical, chemical, medical device, pharmaceutical, and materials science arts.  He also conducts infringement and invalidity analyses and prepares opinions on these issues.  A significant portion of his practice is devoted to the commercialization of intellectual property.  In this regard he aids clients in licensing matters and conducts due diligence reviews and analysis for investment entities.  His practice also encompasses trademark matters and trade secret protection.  Stan's primary goal in representing his clients is to create an efficient intellectual property strategy that advances their business model and maximizes return on intellectual capital.

Stan's legal experience is also quite broad and includes litigation and administrative practice in addition to intellectual property practice.  his experience includes serving as the first general patent counsel for Microban International, Ltd. where he created the company's in-house intellectual property department and assisted in marketing and business strategy.

Dr. Baker is a member of the American Bar Association (IP Section), Arkansas Bar Association (IP Section), American Veterinary Medical Association, and American Intellectual Property Law Association.  He is also licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Arkansas.
