Biography:

Jenna is the General Counsel for Young Harris College and provides flexible alternatives to traditional in-house counsel roles for mid to small sized companies.  She has a diverse practice that reflects a depth of understanding regarding issues that arise in Higher Education, as well as complex commercial disputes and technical issues that arise in healthcare, technology and financial services industries.

Jenna's work investigating the conduct of Enron’s officers and directors for the Examiner appointed in the Enron bankruptcy provides her with unparalleled experience in corporate governance, agency and fiduciary relationships, compliance, and financial fraud investigations. She has also represented both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation involving intellectual property, commercial contracts, privacy, transaction services, and post-merger disputes.

In addition, Jenna has represented owners, contractors and subcontractors in the negotiation of construction contracts, contract management issues, contract compliance issues, insurance and surety issues, and pursuing and defending claims for construction defects, lost profits, and sub-contractor lien and payment disputes.

Jenna was a member of the University of Miami Law Review and the Eugene Spellman American Inns of Court. Jenna currently serves on the Board of the Center for Advancement of Study of International Education and as the Treasurer for Georgia’s WIN List and Voices for Georgia’s Children.
