Mr. Peters has over 20 years of legal experience on a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters with an emphasis on the acquisition and disposition of public and private media and communications companies, including mergers, asset and stock sales, like kind exchanges, and joint ventures.  In addition, Mr. Peters has represented both in-bound investors and U.S. companies investing abroad in a number of significant transactions and joint ventures largely in the media, telecommunications and automotive sectors.  Mr. Peters' international experience includes representing clients in transactions and other commercial matters in Poland, France, Portugal, Spain, England, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Thailand, Turkey and China.  Since early 2004, Mr. Peters' practice has focused on representing U.S. clients in their expansion into China, including investigation and relationship building with potential joint venture partners, negotiation of joint venture, acquisition, disposition, dissolution and settlement arrangements between U.S. clients and both state-owned and private Chinese companies, establishment of wholly-owned foreign enterprises as well as advising clients on licensure, foreign exchange and a whole range of other legal, cultural and business challenges faced by foreign companies in China.

Mr. Peters is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the Taipei Bar Association and is Registered as Attorney for Foreign Legal Affairs in Taiwan ROC.
