Biography:

Ms. Woodrow has a wide range of experience in the practice of commercial real estate law.  She has represented real estate developers and investors in all phases of complex real estate deals, including the acquisition of raw land and development sites, from point of the purchase agreement through the due diligence phase, closing the acquisition, debt and equity financing and assisting with a variety of issues which often arise during project construction and development, and the eventual disposition of the completed projects.  Ms. Woodrow also has broad experience in the acquisition and disposition of developed properties of all types, including retail, office, mixed-use, condominium and industrial properties, often involving large portfolios of developed properties located in several states.

Ms. Woodrow has extensive experience representing both landlords and tenants in the negotiation of office, retail and industrial leases as well as the negotiation of a variety of landlord/tenant disputes and lease enforcement issues.  In her representation of a local developer, Ms. Woodrow was responsible for drafting and negotiating the leases for a 35,000 square foot retail center as well as for several 100,000+ square foot office buildings located in the metropolitan Atlanta area.  In addition, she served as outside counsel for a national/international retailer with regard to all leasing matters related to the retailer's factory facilities and retail stores located across the United States and Canada.

Ms. Woodrow has advised borrowers and commercial lenders and managed the closings of numerous construction loans, permanent loans and loan modifications pertaining to commercial properties in Atlanta and throughout the southeastern United States.

Furthermore, she has been involved in the preparation and negotiation of a broad range of corporate documents, including operating agreements, partnership agreements, articles of incorporation, corporate by-laws and joint venture agreements.  She also has wide-ranging experience negotiating various types of commercial contracts, such as license agreements, construction agreements, equipment leases, cellular tower leases and licenses, condominium documents, security agreements and waivers of liability.
