FSB Named One of Atlanta’s Top Law Firms Next Generation Law Firm™ Joins Traditional Names in Ranking of Top Atlanta Firms
In its first annual “Book of Law,” the Atlanta Business Chronicle has named FSB FisherBroyles, a Limited Liability Partnership, as one of “Atlanta’s Top Law Firms.”
FSB was named to this prestigious list in eight categories, including commercial litigation, corporate law, employment law, intellectual property, real estate, and technology.
In addition, the publication named FSB’s co-founder and co-managing partner, James M. Fisher II, as one of “Atlanta’s Top Law Firm Managing Partners.” The Business Chronicle’s criteria also make FSB one of the top 50 largest law firms in Atlanta and puts it among the city’s top five fastest growing firms in the past five years.
“We’re tremendously pleased by this recognition,” said Fisher’s co-founder and co-managing partner, Kevin E. Broyles. “The Business Chronicle’s list is a who’s who of some of the biggest and oldest law firms in the Southeast. Earning so many spots on this list is a testament to the depth and breadth of our lawyers’ expertise, and it’s a strong endorsement of the new kind of law firm model that FSB represents.”
“Our Law Firm 2.0™ business model has been recognized as being among the best of a group that, in the past, has been made up exclusively of traditional law firm models. We believe that we represent the beginning of a paradigm shift in the way law will be practiced in the future”, said Fisher.
Founded in 2002, FSB FisherBroyles is a full-service law firm of 55 lawyers with attorneys in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, and New York. Conceived as the “Next Generation Law Firm™,” FSB eschews the opulent trappings and traditional cost centers of white shoe firms and instead offers a more cost-effective solution to brand-name clients such as American Express, BB&T, ChoicePoint, Morgan Stanley, Porsche, and many more.
FSB is comprised solely of veteran attorneys drawn exclusively from the nation’s largest firms and corporate legal departments. “Rather than spend years training kids straight out of school, we’ve built a firm of only seasoned all-stars,” Fisher explained. “And we’ve stripped away the things that don’t add value for the client. We don’t charge high rates to support the luxury offices, the expensive art collections, or the redundant staff you see at the big firms we left behind.”
“We keep it lean and nimble,” Broyles added. “Couple that with the kind of world-class expertise you see reflected in these rankings, and you have a combination that really speaks to corporate clients of all sizes.”
